Project Lead The Way provides a comprehensive approach to STEM Education. Through activity-, project-, and problem-based curriculum, PLTW gives students in kindergarten through high school a chance to apply what they know, identify problems, find unique solutions, and lead their own learning. For educators, our engaging, rigorous teacher professional development model provides tools to empower students and transform the classroom into a collaboration space where content comes to life.

PLTW Engineering is more than just another high school engineering program. It is about applying engineering, science, math, and technology to solve complex, open-ended problems in a real-world context. Students focus on the process of defining and solving a problem, not on getting the "right" answer. They learn how to apply STEM knowledge, skills, and habits of mind to make the world a better place through innovation.

ALL HANDS BOATWORKS, INC., currently works with middle and high school students (gr. 6-12) to enhance their learning, encourage academic success, and foster positive youth development. AHB offers a highly sequential 1, 8, or 16-week project to build a beautiful wooden boat out of a pile of lumber and reinforce math skills. Students experience the collaboration and pride of craftsmanship that comes about from building a tangible product with their own hands.

All Hands BoatWorks, Inc. exists to inspire young people challenged by socio-economic and educational hurdles to develop the skills, determination, and self-confidence to achieve goals as young adults. Youth work together to build wooden boats, learn to row, and gain a better understanding of our local freshwater resources through various on-the-water activities.
